Lets get started!
I want to make it. Not for the fame, not for the fans (Though they would be a plus!), but for the fact that I love it. I love acting, and I love writing. I want to inspire people.
When it comes to writing, I want to do what J.K.Rowling did for me! I want to be an author that people are amazed by, the person who gets them to want to read! The one who gets them to want to try writing.
And with acting, I want to make people smile when they see me come on screen. I wish for them to think “Oh I love her.”
So this tumblr. It’s going to be me posting about my journey. Even if I crash and burn. I want to be able to look back on this and understand what I was doing and what I was thinking at that time. Though I’m sure over time it will change, I’ll try and do little updates on occasion.
Today was AMAZING
So I went to my Screenwriting for Beginners! It was AMAZING. Holy Crap!
We talked about Common mistakes in screenwriting, how to set up a script, the format, the basics, action verbs that readers like, how to write characters people can connect to.
But you want to know the BEST thing?
I met this guy named Warren and he runs Tiger Lily Media. He offered to meet me sometime this week about an internship! :D (He also told be about how sometimes when they do specific work they will even pay their interns up to $175!!!!
We only go to talk for a few minutes as we packed everything up. From the sound of it though I’d be helping in anything/everything just to learn about it all. I would be working anywhere from lighting, sound, tech/grunt work to writing and post-production, editing.
I’m SO EXCITED. I really hope Warren calls me sometime soon so we can set this all up.
Today has been fun~!
So, today has been fun. Woke up and watched some old Disney shows. Got dressed and ready for my hair cut. Walked out on the porch to see my Diploma showed up~!!!!!! I have my AA now! :D
Then I went and got my hair trimmed and glossed. On the way home I stopped by Books*A*Million and got two new books by James Patterson. (refer to picture~!) After that I came home and found my Mum was home~! Daddy got home not to much later and we decided that we should go to Singletons for dinner as a treat.
Well I had to go to Julie’s first so I could hang out, print out my model release form, and also to say goodbye because she’s leaving tomorrow. So that was fun. We watched a bit of South Park :D
After that I got home, we went and got Baron and went out for dinner. I got Terriyaki Chicken with hush puppies. Ohmygod. I love Singleton’s Hush Puppies. They are SO FREGGIN GOOD.
After that, droped the boy off and I came home. I just finished gathering all my stuff up for tomorrow. Now I’m getting ready to go to bed.
Tomorrow is going to be so amazing. -Despite waking up at 6something am-I can’t wait to get down there and strut my stuff. I’m going to be confident this time, I’m not going to let my nerves get me down. :3
I feel prideful for once in my life. I actually feel like I can do this. So tomorrow is going to be awesome. I’ll come back tomorrow hopefully with pictures and awesome things to tell everyone.
